This movie is about two guys who travel from town to town and make a living being peace officers.  They get hired by a town after the town thug murders the sheriff and both his deputies.  The thug is a pretty well off man with a lot of hired hands to help him make trouble.  Ha ha, this plot kind of reminds me of the movie Roadhouse!  Anyways, trouble comes when they try to make this guy hang for the murders.  In the middle of all this, one of the guys falls in love with a woman who just moves to town.  I thought this movie was okay but felt like the majority of the movie was too slow paced for me.  Also Renee Zellweger was not looking her best.  I know it was in the wild west so she wasn't wearing makeup but her face seemed to be pudgy and red throughout the movie.  This movie was based on the book by Robert B Parker.
