Okay so I finally caved and watched it and decided that it was not the second coming that everyone made it out to be. I get a rebellious streak when things get too much hype and then I find myself boycotting it because it annoys me. It seemed like every conversation, someone had to bring up Avatar. The special effects were good but I felt like I was watching the movie version of Fern Gully set on another planet. The most disturbing thing about this movie was the weird fibers they had coming out of their braids. Talk about gross! I think I'll stick to Disney's Pocahontas!
