I had higher expectations for this book but it was just blah. It's about three sisters who come back home in failure using their sick mother as the reason for their retreat back home. Each is forced to deal with their problems and grow up. It seemed very anticlimactic to me. It might have been better if the mom died. Maybe then there would have been some actual emotion.
