I've been wanting to read more mystery novels and heard this was a good one. I wasn't disappointed. There's some language but other than that, I'd highly recommend it.
Three children go into the woods and only one returns, covered in blood and unable to remember what happened to his two friends. Twenty years later, that child is now a detective working on the case of a murdered girl found in the same woods. The case leads him to remember bits from twenty years ago and makes him wonder if the two cases are connected. As he searches for the murderer of the little girl, he searches for answers to what happened to his two friends.
