I downloaded this audiobook a while ago and finally decided to listen to it. It's a teen book and it didn't turn out too bad. It's takes place in the future when parts of the land fall into the ocean leaving land scarce. Some people migrate underwater to live on the floor of the ocean. The main character is Ty. A teenaged boy who has spent his entire life under the water. While exploring, he comes across a girl named Gemma who is a topsider. Gemma is an orphan looking for her older brother. They end up teaming up to find her brother but get sidetracked by a group of outlaws that begin raiding homes. Things take a twist when you realize all the children born in the ocean have "dark gifts" like marine life.
