Hoarders- Sickest Episode Yet!

As I mentioned before, one of the shows Chris and I watch is Hoarders on A & E. The episode that aired on Monday was the sickest one yet! One of the hoarders it follows is a compulsive hoarder of food. She would buy food and then it would sit in the fridge or sometimes rot somewhere in the house. When they came to clean out her house they were overwhelmed with the horrid smell that she had become immune to. As they were cleaning out one of her refrigerators, they discovered food that was overly expired. Some of the items in her fridge, year old eggs, yogurt that expired in 2008, she also had chicken broth from 2007 that she refused to throw away. At one point the therapist was standing with her in the living room looking at a fly strip hanging from the ceiling and asked if there was something rotting in the room. She said no and then they discovered a pumpkin a few feet away that she had forgotten about. It was so rotten that it look like someone had smashed it onto the ground. After taking a few more steps the discovered a rotting squash! I couldn't believe she had the nerve to dig out a few pumpkin seeds before she let them throw the pumpkin out!
