Gran Torino, Rated R

Gran Torino with Clint Eastwood: DVD Cover
This movie was a little slow paced but by the end had me a little choked up. Clint Eastwood's character is a grouchy old man who has a pretty foul mouth. It was quite funny at times. The movie starts out when his wife dies and you learn that he has pretty much alienated himself from his family. He gets pretty close to the kids that live next door after he saves the girl from a few thugs and steps in when a gang tries to beat up the boy for not joining them. Even though the family is Asian and he seems to be pretty racist, he grudgingly becomes a sort of mentor to the boy. Throughout the movie, the gang gives the family a hard time and he tries to help.

I'm surprised this is all you have to say about one of the best movies to come out in years. I'd give this movie an A+. In short, it rocked.
