The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne

Reader Rating:
This was one of my attempts to read more classics. It was a pretty short book, which is probably why I was able to get through it. It had a different storytelling style for me and at times I found my mind wandering. At times it seemed more like it was a telling of a legend, or a listing of observations. It probably would have been easier to swallow if it were told from one of the characters' perspective.
