Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford

I finally buckled down and finished this book. I've been reading it forever! I really liked it and cried at the end. It takes place during WWII and present day Seattle and follows a young Chinese boy named Henry. Henry falls in love with a Japanese-American girl who is later sent to an internment camp with her family. The story flashes back and forth to forty years later after Henry has lost his wife to cancer and the belongings of several Japanese families are found in the basement of the Panama Hotel.
