There are so many people I work with that said this is their favorite book. With Brad Pitt filming the movie adaptation, I was curious. I ended up being really disappointed. I expected the usual zombie apocalypse story but what it actually is is a post war book of interviews. The whole book is someone interviewing survivors from around the world. The reason why I didn't like the book very much was that I felt there was no real story line. There were some interesting characters that would be telling a great story and then the interview would be over and you'd be left hanging.
